Wolves and Bears Oh My!

Yes I am finally posting. We have made the move to our new house so it has been a process. But here's a fun post. A few weeks ago we had some friends come up and visit us. We live about an hour from Yellowstone and so we decided to go take a drive up there. They have a town on the edge of the park called W. Yellowstone. There is a nature preserve that had bears and wolves. I was very impressed with how neat this was. With only 2 thinks to look at it kept us and the kids very entertained.
In the bear habitat they removed the bears and let the kids go and hide their food. The kids put in under logs in holes etc. Addison found the perfect spot. Her face was great when the bear went straight over to her food. Then the bear sat down for a little relaxation and I mean they sat. Like a person. It was also fun to see them wrestle each other. Next was the wolves. They were completely enclosed no food hiding for these guys. But it was still an awesome thing to see. Ellie got so excited when one came to the window to look at her she took my camera trying to take pictures. So, if anyone is heading this way I highly recommend this place. We have family coming next month and hope we get to take them there.

So its been a long time since I posted. And my computer got a virus and erased all my pictures and then won't allow me to up load any either. But on to family business. For Labor Day our family on the Carter side gets together and has a family reunion. Lots of fun games, crafts, football and the guys golf. This year we made tie dyed t-shirts, I made a pumpkin craft and watched BYU football. Then the cute girls of the family came up with this great idea. And if you watch as you can see EVERYONE in the family got involved. From 2-to grandma's and grandpa's! It was fabulous and a fun thing to look back on. Can't wait for our next video!

After the BBQ is where everything turned. We had about 6 or 8 teenagers. Girls and boys and so you know how that goes on a hot summer day with a lot of flirting. It turned into an all out water fight. They were having so much fun. I loved it. Thats when they decided to fix the boys hair and paint their nails.. I'm telling you what a cute girl does to a boy.

4th of July

We had a great 4th. We got up bright and early made it to the parade then grabbed the rest of the stuff we needed for the BBQ we hosted. It was so much fun. Kids galore! The only problem we had was Addison wanted to be involved with all the kids so she crawled everywhere which meant she suffered a lot that night and all the next day.

We were visiting grandma and decided to take a ride on some bikes. When Addison got her leg caught in the wheel. The rubber wheel gave her a huge burn and pulled off all her skin on the back. Then on the front of her leg she broke it. Its a pretty nasty little injury. Worst of all when I took her into urgent care she was only treated with a burn and sent home on tylenol. She had such a horrible night that we called and went back the next morning and they decided to do an x-ray. Thats when they found the fracture. And finally gave her some real medicine that will help her pain. I was so furious with all if this. We got back up to Idaho and went to the dr today and they won't put a hard cast on right now because her heel is so bad they are worried about it becoming infected. So in a few weeks we may be getting one on. It sure stinks because we are having great weather now and she wants to be outside playing.

West Yellowstone

Yep, again we took another trip. This time we went fishing at Henry's Lake and then took a little drive up to the little town of West Yellowstone. If you don't know it sits at the entrance of Yellowstone. We set up our chairs and got our poles ready. Addison kissed the worm. Ellie was scared to touch them Preston knew he was gonna catch a huge fish and Keller was just all about looking cool! Aren't the mountains beautiful!

Jackson Hole

The great thing about living in Idaho is how close we are to Yellowstone and Jackson Hole. We had plans to go camping for Memorial Day but the snow still wasn't melting all the way in the mountains so we wouldn't be able to get our trailer up. We canceled the trip and went to Jackson Hole for the day. It was cold and rain/snowy. But a lot of fun!!

Baseball, Soccer, Weddings Oh MY!

This is what we have been up to lately. Keller baseball, baseball,baseball. He is doing competition baseball and we are traveling up to 4 hr away for games. Two games during the week, and double headers on Saturdays.. So busy! But we love to get out there and watch our guy play!

Next we had a wedding! Cory's little brother Caden got married.. It was a beautiful wedding. And we couldn't have had better weather! The girls were so excited to get to wear their princess dresses for this also. We are so happy for the fun beautiful couple!

And finally Preston. He chose to do soccer this spring. Although I don't think that we had a single game that was spring like weather. Ever one of his games was cold windy and/or rainy. It's hard to be a supportive parent when you are sitting in freezing weather and all that is on your mind is the nice warm car! He did great though. It had been a while since he has played soccer so he had a little catching up to do. But he did great. Now we are getting ready for SUMMERTIME!!!

Yep.. Preston turned 11. I can't believe how much he has grown up. We took him to an all you can eat Pizza place with his sisters, brother and cousin's that live in town. And yes the horrible mom I am forgot to bring my camera. Then we took him to pick out a present. He chose a new bike. He also got to decorate his cake. That's why there is so many sprinkles.

"A NEW CAR"

Don't I wish! I just got back from Los Angeles this week. My husband works for Fiji Water and Pom Wonderful. They are based in L.A. There was a natural food convention so I tagged along.
First on my list was to go to the Price is Right. YAH!! A life long dream. My sister lives in L.A. so she and I made our T-shirts got our name tags and were ready for our names to be called. Hey, I can be hopeful..Our shirts say G.R.I.T.S. for Girls Raised In The South. I will tell you I was taken back by the set. SOOOOO SMALL and SOOOO 70's I don't think that they have changed the decore since the show started. The best part about it all was when a lady got called down to contests row. She got so excited jumping up and down hugging her friend. And then.... her wig fell off. She could not recover or get it fixed straight. People all over the audience where trying to help her get it back on right. I even think Drew Carey walked over to see if he could help. It was great!

Next we went to Anaheim for the food convention. And let me tell you, the diet I was on went right out the door. I should have known that by just the word "food" convention. Luckly though alot was all natural and all YUCKY! But there were also some great YUMMY stuff.. Well that is the extent of my vacation to Cali. It was so nice and refreshing to get out into some sun and wear sandles the whole time I was there. And spend some much needed time with my hubby...

Crazy Month

There has been a huge laps in blogging. I want to do a lot better this year. But the last month I had surgery. Ellie had surgery. And then the holidays came. But all in all it was all good. We again went to Utah Cory's sister came from Florida with her husband. We spent a few days there having family parties. One of Cory's family tradition is the family gets together and does a talent show. Now its by far nothing like real talent. Its more something that's fun that makes everyone laugh. Then headed down to Provo to my family. Our tradition is fondue. It made the holidays great to get together with family and have the traditions that we grew up with. For some reason the pics of Cory's family and parties got erased.

Thanksgiving

We went down to Utah since that is where all of our family is. We hung out with the grandparents and cousins. We eat a great turkey dinner and play games. The kids love it as much as we do!

Camera Switch

We had a mix up. Over Halloween we went to Utah to stay with family and do the finals on selling our house. We left our camera. We went back down a few weeks ago and go it back. But after getting home and to our surprise.... it was the wrong one! My father in law has the same camera but they got switched., which means... no pics for Halloween or Thanksgiving. Jackson Hole

We only live about an hour away from Jackson Hole now. So we decided to take our first Saturday that we didn't have to pack/unpack/or move to go have a break. Keller took his friend Conner and boy were they in heaven. It turns out there was some huge soccer tournament and there were tons of girls their age there. We went to some 50's diner and ate. There were some girls there that were trying to get their attention, so like mom does to embarrass I wrote a note with their phone numbers and sent it the girls way. Boy you should have seen how excited these girls got. All giggly and smiling. The boys were not happy. All in all we had fun and it was great to get away. And by the way.. Addie is quiet to poser.

I am not old enough to have a teenager! But Keller turned 13 and boy does he ever act like a teenager. We had our Uncle Kelly and Aunt Keri and their family come for cake and ice cream. My niece Kayla who just moved her to go to BYU-I even came. We had lots of fun celebrating. Happy Birthday Keller.

Bob Cats Attack!

Just a few weeks after moving to Rexburg Addison got signed up for the Little Bobcats. She along with a few of her cousins learned a few of the high school cheers and she danced to "Grease Lightning" oh she loved it! She still does the cheers at least once a day. And now Ellie follows along and tries to do them. it think we may have some future Madison Cheerleaders.

Keller Football 2010

We talked Keller into doing football this year. He wanted to do all competative baseball. We moved here to Idaho and got him into football for something to do and so he could meet some friends. He loves it! And is on fire this year!! In their first game he scored the only touch down for their team and they won by 1 point. And the 2nd game he scored 2 touchdowns a pretty long pass. He is so happy! Here are a few pics from the last 2 games. He is number 10. Doesn't he look great.

The Move!

It's been a while and I have lots of posts. But I have to download and get through all my picture. We just moved about 2 weeks ago from Utah to Idaho! COLD Idaho as I am told. And right now we still don't have all of our stuff together and situated. We moved into a house about a quarter of the size of our old house. The pluses....

GOOD
1. Close to family
2. Small town and we love that.
3. small house means its fast to clean (everyone can take a room and its done)

BAD
1. Farther away from other family
2. no malls!!!
3. smaller house means faster to get dirty!

we hope to be out of this rental and in a new home by Feb... wish us luck!

Pioneer Days 2010

Pioneer Days is the celebration of the pioneers coming to the west. So there is alot of activities and things going on. We met up with our friends early one morning to wait for the Ogden City Pioneer parade... LONGEST parade ever we left after 2 hours.. and they didn't throw any candy. So the kids were bored. but it was still fun.. Then later that day we spent with Cory's family and grandpa eating fried chicken and talking. Then we came home and watched the fireworks from our back porch. It was great! So, Happy Pioneer Day!

We went over to Nana and Bumpa's house for fireworks on the 5th of July. Lily and Ryker (they are our cousins) were there and having so much fun. I showed them how to do double dutch. Although it has been years so I wasnt able to do it.. Especially with ropes that are to small. As the fireworks went off it was great the girls made up dancing while the lights flickered in the dark. A great way to end the weekend.

Yellowstone on the 4th of July

We met some of our friends from Idaho up in Island Park, Id and went camping. First day was nice. We got everything set up kids were playing and having fun. Boys went fishing. Came back with nothing. But it was only the first night. Saturday we went to W. Yellowstone. Its a cute tourist town right on the border of the Yellowstone National Park. We saw lots of shops and Huckleberry ice cream, cow boy boots, It was great. We went back that night to the campsite and had fun making smores and talking and laughing..
Sunday we got up went to church in W. Yellowstone.. HOLY COW it was full.. every room in the building was full just for sacrament. It was crazy. Then we took a drive into Yellowstone Park.. We went to Old Faithful, saw some hot pots, we saw deer, elk, coyote, bison and bald eagle. Thats the most I have ever seen there.When we got back our friends later that night wanted to go back and see the fireworks for the 4th in W. Yellowstone. Cory and our family we were really to tired. So we stayed.. then come to find out that put on a show right there were we were staying.. Right over the lake. Addie and I had front row seats! Cory stayed at the trailer with the boys and watched them while lying in bed.. All in all it was such a great weekend. And we all had alot of fun.

This was Addison's very special day. She had her dance recital. Her class the song was "do you believe in magic" when I get a copy of the video I will post it.. we were a bit scared that she was going to mess up or just sit there still... but she got out there and danced her little heart out!

Carter Easter

Better late than never right! And really this is more for me to remember than everyone else. A typical Carter Easter, Grandma Carter would get all the prizes. Everyone had to have the same amount. Everyone had eggs and there is always a pinata. Can we say FUN!! This was our first one without Grandma Carter but it was still great to have the tradition. This was also Ellie's first year to really understand and look for eggs. She had so much fun. She would find an egg and move on. Then she would fall and they would dump out and she would see the eggs and think they were all new eggs. It kept her really busy. Next the pinata and they had a blast. Oh I love traditions and I hope that we can continue. I know Grandma Carter was looking down and loving the day as much as we were!

Space Derby

Preston had his space derby a few weeks ago. Cory was out of town. But they managed to get it all together in time. He was so excited. Preston loves to work on things and make and repair and clean. He works hard. So he pretty much did the whole thing by himself. Unfortunaltly he didn't win. But he still had lots of fun!

(And yes it is Pink and Purple. I tried to talk him out of those colors but that what he wanted!)

Well, to my dog that is.. She had 3 girl puppies.. Last night ( or early this morning) between 1-5 am ..she had 2 black puppies and 1 brown.. I can't wait to see them get a little bigger! It was the neatest thing to see a dog who knows nothing of whats going on to naturally go into instinct and do what nature tells her to do. She jumped right in. It's amazing.. Addie keeps saying. "Tink is such a good mom" and "she look just like a mom now."

So, I guess you can say I'm a proud grandma!

Cookies makes everything better.. The girls and I have been sick. Ellie ended up with RSV and we have to give her breathing treatments every 4 hrs. She is doing much better though. Today though I really wanted some cookies.. some homemade cookies and since we were the only ones home. We made them. I gave the girls the spoons..

Grandma Carter

I write this post with a heavy heart. Cory's grandma passed away this afternoon from a long illness.. I remember walking into your home almost 5 years ago and being introduced to you.. You couldnt remember my name so all that you could get out of it was Big Mama and I must be Hawiian. Which later became a huge joke for everyone. I guess I was just one of the many that got a fake name until either we were gone or soon after seeing things were getting serious you had to figure out what our real name was. I truly enjoyed going over a few times a week and visiting with you and Grandpa Carter. It gave not only you something to do... but time for me to learn about you .
I will never forget how you always opened your home to everyone. It didn't matter who, what, why whatever it may be if someone needed to be there you had a place for them. A place for them to be comfortable. I truly owe you so much credit for taking in and treating my boys no different from your other grandchildren. And I know that they felt that love from you. I also know that they didn't notice any difference. They always called you Grandma and Grandpa Carter. I am so glad to know that my children now have been able to meet you. I wish the younger ones could have spent more time. But I know that they will have many great memories.
I have heard of your great deeds here on earth. That you would give to anyone and I have seen and witnessed it. I know that you have a great work to do.. You are and were a WONDERFUL example. Keep up the good work.. Watch over us and have some fun~

"Bend and Snap"

So then Ellie (who really is a clone of Addie) had to copy and now that is their new thing. Only problem is I could never get the both of them to do it together. So we have two videos.

Russian Pelmeni

If you don't know Cory served his mission in Russia. So last night we decided to spend time as a family making Pelmeni. Its similar to Gyoza's. But the Russian way is to eat them in a soup. That is just beef boullion and sour cream. Very simple.. and takes a bit of getting used to. And they fill you up. Addie ate a bit and Ellie ate hers and everyone else's.

Make Over

As you all well know Addison loves make up. There is not a day that goes by that she doesn't put on makeup.We got her a Barbie makeup for Christmas this year that has all kinds of make-up and a nice carrying case. All was quiet on the home front. And with any mother you know that means kids are up to no good. I peeked around the corner and Ellie had become Addison's test subject.. Ellie turned got up came to me.. and really believed that she was BEAUTIFUL!!

I Believe In Miracles

Saturday was one of the scariest days of my life. We went out for Addison to take some pictures for Cory's cousin's website. It was cold outside and Cory was worried about Ellie. So we started walking back to the car. All of a sudden I saw everything in slow motion. Cory slipped on the ice and Ellie literally slammed her head on the ice. You could hear it. Then she went out. She was knocked unconcious. We tried blowing in her face talking to her everything we could think of with out moving her. Then finally had to call an ambulance.(luckily the were right across the street) after what felt like a life time but about 5 min or so.. She finally started coming through. But not moving. Just opened her eyes.. No cries nothing. They took Ellie by ambulance to the hospital strapped the a board and still barely any cries. After a few hours and a CAT scan they said she looked good but had a concusion. I was shocked that her skull did not crack or anything.. But we were prepared for a black and blue face. The next day.. barely a THING. seriously.. I took this picture.. Again all I can say it I believe in Miracles.. and I believe God was watching over her that day.. Thank you sooooo much!

Dance You Pants Off

Addison has been taking dance for a few months. She LOVES it. When she has dance she wears her leotard all day long.. Even long after it is over. She has picked up on the routine that they are learning for their recital in May.(she started a few months late)

Preston's Spotlight

Preston had a Christmas concert. He was so excited and would walk around the house singing and singing and of tune... singing.. He also had a little group and one girl sang a solo and a couple kids played the bells.. Preston even had a bell solo.. We had a great little first birthday for Ellie.. I was gonna make her a cake but Addison told me we bought her's at the store so we have to do the same for Ellie..

Ellie wasn't real sure about what to do with the presents and the cake. We had her aunts and uncles and grandparents over so it was alot of fun. I think Addison got to play with Ellie's presents more than she got to.

Tonsils and Addison

Addison snores more than any little kid I know. And it doesn't matter where she falls asleep. She snores. Well we had to get her tonsils and adnoids taken out last Friday. And boy what an experience. Not only has my family been sick from what we think is the swine flu.. (we are going off what other that have had it have said and what the doctors are saying)

We got to the hospital and Addie was fine she was talking to a little girl climbed into her bed. But as soon as the wanted her to put the night gown on she freaked. And I have no idea why. Then her Dr. was late for an emergency at another hospital so we blew up the latex gloves and threw them played games.. Really anything that I could keep her happy with. Then they came back to get her. She kept asking me.."mom are you coming" I would tell her I would for a little bit. Then they wheeled her through the surgery doors. And I felt horrible. She was looking at me with the sadest face.

After the surgery was over the Dr. said she did great. They came and got me in recovery and they said that they had just given her morphine.. I was thinking ok we are going to be here forever. She is going to be so sleepy.. Oh no she was wide awake and demanding! And one of the first things she asked was to go play with her cousin Lily! We settled for calling Lily.

Well, 4 days into it and we are hanging in there. She is struggling with drinking and not eating anything. But she is a trooper! Here are some pictures..

My sister Jayna (the kids call her Nayna) was living in Ohio.. And moved to L.A. so on her way through to Cali she stopped in to visit everyone. Addison wouldnt leave her alone and had to follow her everywhere. We played games and Jayna made cupcakes that turned out.. well.... they were good if you didnt have to look at them. We were so busy hanging and talking and laughing that the only picture I got was the beautiful one of her.

We think she was adopted.

A few weeks ago a little girl in our neighborhood invited Addie to a birthday "tea party" they were to wear Princess dresses and bring their favorite baby. Addison was sooooo excited she carried the invitation for the next week. She went and had alot fun. The party favors were adorable. The gave all the girls a little purse and a hat.. A little over a week ago we had Addison's cousin Lily come over to play. Now a little about their relationship. It has gotten soooo much better.. but they have a love hate relationship with each other. They can't wait to see one another and play but after a little bit they can't take it anymore and have to be split up! Again... they have gotten alot better on this. You can actually have an afternoon where they play with very little fighting.. Anyways.. Lily came to play and Addie rushed to her and said come on lets go play. I can hear Addie's little drawers from her makeup table opening and closing.. This is what happened next..... they even had to take out each others hair and fix it.

Keller Arrested

Keller got to sit in a cop car outside the FSU/Miami game on his birthday.. What a great birthday present huh.. Luckily it was Uncle Matt that came to the rescue!

Yesterday was Keller's 12 birthday so he was in Florida with his dad and Preston to watch the big game. He hung out with Parker and Uncle Tim and Aunt Carson and even got to spend the night with Uncle Matt and Aunt Jami.. We didn't get to celebrate his birthday here yet so that post will come soon!

My little Princess turned 3. All she talked about was her Dora birthday! We were lucky to have my mom here and most of Cory's family. She was so excited to eat her Dora cake and sing "Happy Birthday to Addie" she even sang it all day. And luckly most of her present had to do with Dora.. Here are a few pics. I know they are late ... Now that things have calmed down here at home I have been wanting to blog and have tons of pics. But for some reason my camera is not loading them on my computer, so I gotta figure that out before I can tell alot of the things going on because there are some great pics.
The boys have started school. And they are enjoying it. Keller and Preston both say that they have really nice teachers. They are both playing football right now and are exhausted by the end ot the day. Addison and Ellie are keeping me busy. They are into everything and anything. Ellie will crawl along following Addie where ever she is just to get into what she is doing. She also loves to play with the door stoppers behind the doors. She likes the noise they make.
Addison had her 3rd birthday which I will post on when I figure out whats going on. But she got an Ariel necklace for her birthday that sings when you push the button. I stepped on it in her room. And I told her I was sorry and she said. "Thank you for saying your sorry" hmmm. I think she has heard that one to many times. She is also officially OUT of diapers. Not even at night.
Cory and I are still chugging along. And as you all know life has been very busy! But in the end very rewarding! Check around again soon!!

Things here have been a little tough. Family things going on and so on. Which made me reflect on some things and made me think and be greatful.

Cory and I have been married for 4 yrs. Seems like longer maybe because I already had kids coming into the marriage. Although we do not agree all the time. I love him more than I can say. He would do anything for me or the kids. He is my JOY.

Keller is my oldest boy he will be turning 12 in Sept. and will get the Priesthood. What a big honor. Yes sometime I struggle with him. But he is so good to his sisters and they adore him.(this is the only good pic I have of Keller right now sorry)

Preston is the second oldest. He is the hardest working 9 yr old that I know. He is so kind and wants to help everyone that this often gets him walked on by others. But he doesn't care. He loves his family and really would do anything for them.

Addison! Well everyone has seen the posts. This little one always keeps me on my toes. She is active all over the place. Screams, yells. Is your typical 3 yr old. (Aug.19) but Look can you resist those eyes or lips? Or better yet when she comes up and gives you a hug out of the blue and says "I love you Mommy"

Ellie. The newest addition. Really I don't know that I have seen a better baby! She is so easy going lets you do whatever you want with her. We traveled around Europe and she was better than everyone else! She is a light to our family. She smiles and laughs and it is contagious. Right down from her Miss America wave when she says hi, to her growl that almost sounds evil. She is adorable.

I missed the post because of all the things going on here at home. Alot of family things. But last week was my birthday. Cory took me with his family and my brother and his girlfriend out to eat. It was alot of fun. We went to lonestar I climbed on the saddle as they sang. I love Twilight and he bought me the New Moon poster and a balloon that says "50" because for 11 months I am one year older than Cory and he never lets me live it down. The Stacie my brothers girlfriend that teaches cooking and home EC made me this YUMMY cake. All Addison wanted to do was eat the icing off my little cup cakes. All in all it was fun and great! But scared for being another year older. All the wrinkles! UGGHHH

This past Friday we celebrated Jami and Matt's wedding. Those of you from back home in Tallahassee know him as Matt Copelin or officer Matt!They got married on Friday the 17th of July. I have to brag because if it wasn't for me this wouldn't have happened. Actually I didn't do much but introduce them and let things just kinda go how they would. Baseball 09'

We have been so busy this summer with baseball. Preston played machine pitch then moved the next week and played kid pitch. And up until the very last game never swung once at the ball. Finally we told him he will owe us money if he doesn't swing. So, he did.
Keller had a great season. He pitched a few times until his arm started to hurt. But the first game he pitched he struck out 5 players. Then he hit 2 home runs this season. And now they are in the tournament. Plus, he may be doing all-stars I didn't get any pictures of Preston but here are some from Keller hitting and being the catcher.

Father's Day

This have been busy with weddings, farewells, and just summer. The boys weren't with us for Father's Day but the girls gave Cory the present. I had a book made for Cory hard bound with pictures from over the years and saying from the kids about things that they remembered. It was really neat. And something different.

Addison has suddenly become free! The other day at church she was running in the hall. I had Ellie in my hands so I just thought that I would wait for Addison to come to me and I would stop her. She never came so, I started to walk the hall and I came around the corner and Addison was at the water fountain with all her clothes off. And I mean ALL!

Then yesterday and Keller's game I forgot the change her out from underwear to diapers (because we are potty training.) She had an accident and hated that her dress and underwear were wet. So she tore off her clothes again. It was a big fight trying to get her to put and keep them on. I think this is beginning to be a problem!

Well, I don't have a pic of this one. But I will have to tell it anyway. I was getting dressed the other day and Addison is picking out stuff from my closet telling me "this is a pretty dress" and so on. So, I was putting on makeup and Addison says "look mom" I look over and she has taken some of my nursing pads and stuffed them in her shirt. Then she says "now I'm like Mommy"

The boys had some friends over today and they played outside for a bit then decided to try to go fishing. That went unsuccessful so they grabbed the bug nets and caught some minnows. By the time they got home they had it all planned out. Their friends were going to let them have their tank they had pieces of bread in the bowl and were naming them. The strategy line was "you know how you said we could have a pet" They weren't to thrilled with me when I told them that they had to throw them back. Poor guys.

The Big Game

It took me awhile to post this one because I forgot that I took the picture. But last week we had the big game. Preston played a ball game against his cousin Ryker. The boys were both really excited and they had grandma's and aunts there to cheer them on. Preston played pitcher and 1st base and even catcher. Ryker was excited because the week before he hit a grandslam! So he was still on a high from that. And Cami is the excited mom in the stands coach. Ryker got up to hit and she was there yelling. He got up to be the catcher and she was there to coach him behind the fence. After Ryker was done being the catcher he told the umpire to tell his mom to be quiet! All in all is was great game. I don't know who won but it was ok because they went out there to have fun!

Yep, Keller's best friend from Salem came up and spent the night. Addison followed them EVERYWHERE.. And if they went outside or something she would say where did Trevor go? And look around the house. So, I finally asked. "Addie is Trevor your boyfriend." and she said Yes.
The I said "do you love Trevor" she said Yes. Then Preston said "Do you love me" she said "No" then he said "do you love Keller" she said "No". Then he said again "do you love Trevor" she said Yes.

Don't Panic!

Addison is ok! She has just been having a fever and being very tired. Cory though had me take her to the dr yesterday for possible SWINE FLU! Yep, I felt like the over active mother. Addison has been acting very tired and irritable since Sunday and then had a fever peeking at about 102. And not coming down and having chills. After Cory advising me that we have to take all precautions he had me get her into the dr yesterday. He checked her out and did a strep test because her throat was red but it was negative. So, we have been laying around watching TV and movies and not getting much done becuase she is wanting to be snuggled. She has to have her blanket and pillow and this dog that Im about to throw out! This is when a mom needs more hands, arms, or whatever.

Fly Fishing

Cory has been dying to go camping and fishing. Since the weather lately has been so unpredictable we settled with going to a trout farm. You pay $15.oo to fish for an hour. But they stock the water with tons of trout. Everybody caught a fish but me. I was the last to go. So I guess they had evnough of what we were giving them. Bumpa even showed up to watch or more like babysit. Addison had fun with catching but the got easily distracted by the dead flowers. She kept blowing them. But would take that first breath to blow and inhale a bunch of flower tops. We even saw a lady that brought her pet bird. As she fished it sat on her shoulders. The kids had a fun day and a good way to teach the kids how to fly fish!

Mother's Day

For Mother's Day the kids and Cory made me breakfast walked me out blind folded. Preston made me a flower pot with flowers. Addie at nursery made me a flower pot with fake flowers and followed me around the whole day "happy mother's day" I would hug her and say thank you and put them down. Then she would pick them out and say it all over again. This would go on over and over again. It was a wonderful and beautiful day full of family and love! I can't express how greatful I am to be a mother. To have my children and to have the experiences of life with them and watching them learn and explore and become their own selves. Thank you guys!

We have nicknamed Ellie "chubs" funny thing is according to the Dr. she's not. Ellie had he 6month check up yesterday. What I can't believe is number one that she is 6 months. That flew by way to fast. She was weighed. And now weighs a whopping 12 pds 14 ounces. Not near as big as she feels or looks. Now don't get me wrong. She is small. But she looks alot bigger than 13 pds! They do all those tests weighing, measuring, all that stuff. Ellie's weight is in the 5% and her hight is just under the 50%. So, she is below average. I guess we are just judging her on what Addison looked like. Ellie has rolls that Addie never had!

Kid's Market Day

At Preston's school they have a kids market day where they have earned money for doing good things and so on. The kids bring in things that they want to sell. Preston had about $10 in kids money and brought things to sell which meant he could get more money. To make a long story short. He came home with a piece of candy for him and this for Addison a Princess Clock. Her eyes got so big and had a big smile and she carried it around all day long, and as character to Addie she had to sleep with it. Preston later told me that kids were making fun of him for buying it. But he said he didn't care. That he saw it and new Addie would love it! Thats my boy!!

Well, there really hasn't been much to report lately. Just getting our lives back in order from Europe. And the week after we got back Addison got sick and then Ellie and then I did. But, I don't think swine flu was an issue over there when we were there. So, we are ok on that department. We have just been very busy with boys starting baseball and me making watches and doing boutiques! Thanks for the support.

Lazy Day in Frankfurt

Today we took a lazy day and had a picnic at the park, went to the temple and to Hessenpark. It was nice to just stroll relax and let the little ones run wild at the park. We had ice cream. And Addison shared hers with Ellie. It was all in all a beautiful day!
